The 24" x 40" Rectangle Glass top has a thickness of 1/2 inches. This clear glass table top is made from the finest quality furniture glass and weighs 55bs. It's touch edges are smooth and flat polished so that it creates a bright and smooth feel. The glass tables edges and corners are expertly polished for a beautiful and quality look - plus, it's tempered at no additional cost!

Tempered glass is 4-5 times stronger, and more heat and scratch resistant than standard annealed glass.

The tempering process strengthens the glass, and if broken, tempered glass, crumbles into small granular cubicle pieces, eliminating the danger of sharp edges.
