The tempering process strengthens the glass and if broken, tempered glass crumbles into small granular cubicle pieces. This eliminates the danger of sharp edges. Also, tempered glass is more scratch resistant and heat resistant than regular glass.
Round Bronze Glass table tops are tempered with a Bright Flat Polish edge. The beautiful rich bronze glass table top is 1/2" thick tempered glass. Add something special to any décor with a bronze glass table top, the sparkle will make you smile.
Each glass top is expertly packaged with Styrofoam to guarantee safe delivery, and every purchase comes with free bumpons included so you can assemble your furniture with ease.

Tempered glass or toughen glass is also referred to as Safety Glass. The tempering process strengthens the glass, and if broken, Tempered glass, crumbles into small granular cubicle pieces. This eliminates the danger of sharp edges.
Due to the strength and safety features associated with tempered glass, it is used for shower doors, skylights, table tops, and where greater risk might occur. Automobile side and back windows use tempered glass. A laminated glass is used for windshields. Building codes require windows to be made of tempered glass as well.
For extra strength, safety, and peace of mind, tempered glass is the way to go!
